Custom stock overview

General description #

The custom stock overview report is the trimmed and customised version of the expanded stock report. The report gives the position of stock on the current date. The report by default gives the position about the technical quantities. You can view the technical, economic, and accounting quantities of stock available in the report using the Additional filters.

Additional filters #

The report has an additional filter, that enables you to filter the data in the report on the basis of stock type. The available stock types in the filter drop-down are “Economical“, “Technical” & “Accounting“.

  • Economical: This setting considers both the planned and finalised orders for displaying the stock quantity.
  • Technical(default setting): This setting shows the quantity of the stock based on finalized orders only and does not take planned orders into account.
  • Accounting: This setting for the custom stock report only deducts sales from stock at the invoice date. This allows closing a financial period more easily.

Columns #

  • Product Group: This column gives the product group to which a product belongs. On hover, the column displays the short info text “The product group the product belongs to.”
  • Product: The product name(shortcode) of the product is given in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Short code of the product.”
  • Supplier: The supplier(seller) of the product as per the purchase contract related to the lot is displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Supplier.”
  • Packing: The packaging of the product as per the lot is displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Packaging.”
  • Unloading date: The unloading date of the lot at the warehouse as per the related order is displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Unloading date for the lot.”
  • Stock: The quantity of stock left in the lot is displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Remaining quantity of the result side.”
  • Unit: The unit of the product as per the lot is displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Quantity unit.”
  • Value per ton: The price of the product per 1000 units is given in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “value per 1000 units including extra costs.”
  • Remaining expected amount in F.C.: The gives the value of the remaining stock quantity in the currency used in the contract. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Remaining expected amount in foreign currency.”
  • Remark: Any remarks added in the field “Internal remarks about the lot” of the lot are displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Remark.”
  • Warehouse: The warehouse(relation) where the lot is unloaded/stored is given in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Warehouse where the lot is stored.”
  • Our reference: The reference number as per the order line or production order. This number is generated in Qbil-Trade and not supplied by the warehouse. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Reference number of the lot as known by the subsidiary.”
  • Analysis: Analysis related to the product in the lot which is added in the field “analysis” of the lot is given in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Analysis of a stock lot or production.”

Accounts and Financial

  • Unable to find invoice for export in current month

    Invoices are displayed on the export screen in a particular month. The month of the invoice is taken from the invoice date and not from another date, such as the due date.

    The invoice date is therefore leading in terms of month for export periods. For example: Invoice date 22-05-2022 and due date 15-06-2022. This invoice will appear in the export under the month May.
