The value of a stored stock lot can be influenced in several ways and it also depends on where you are looking the stock lot up. If you are looking at the stock lot in the stock lot interface, you will always see the “naked” value of a lot. This means no additional costs are involved in determining the value of the lot.
It may very well be that the value does not match the expected value of the contract pricing. This could be caused by ultimately paying a different purchase price when booking your expected purchase costs. The purchase booking screen is leading in determining the value of a stock lot.
You may also encounter a different value in certain web or Excel reports. These values may include additional costs such as commission, transport, order costs etc. This will be explained in column headers. Reports that include extra costs in the value usually also contain an original purchase price.
