General description #
Position list print simply is the compact version of position overview that gives you the position of available or planned order quantities. The report provides these details per product or product group. This is made in such a way that you can print the position overview for each product or product group. Using the Position list print report, you can track orders planned over the contract months for these products and product groups.
Columns #
- Line type: This column displays the trade/movement of the product: Purchase, Sales or Production. On hover, it displays the info text “Line Type”.
- Product group: This column displays the product group used in the contract. On hover, it displays the info text “The product group the product belongs to”.
- Product code: This column displays the shortcode of the product used in the contract. On hover, it displays the info text “shortcode of the product”.
- Relation name: The relation with which the contract has been made or the name of the warehouse where the stock lot is being stored. On hover, it displays the info text “Buyer/seller of the product”.
- Country of origin: The product’s origin is shown in this column. The value of this column is fetched from the “origin” field of the related contract. On hover, it displays the info text “Country of origin”.
- Contract number: This shows the current contract number in case the stock lot is not fully stored in the warehouse yet. When the stock lot has arrived in the warehouse, this changes to “our reference no.” of the stock lot. Our reference no consists of the contract number-order number. So, for example: “203068-40”. When a stock lot is moved from order 40 to 80, this number changes to “203068-40-80”. On hover, displays the info text “Display contract number”.
- Currency: The currency in which the contract has been made. On hover, it displays the info text “Currency”.
- Price per MT: This column will show the price per 1000 kg set in the contract. On hover, it displays the info text “Price per 1000 units”.
- Packaging: The packing in which a product is stored or will be supplied. On hover, it displays the info text “Packing of the product”.
- Quantity: The total contract quantity agreed to deliver for the said contract. On hover, it displays the info text “Quantity per contract line”.
- Contract balance: This shows the remaining quantity in the contract. While calculating the contract value of a contract, any re-evaluated quantity of the associated lots is also considered. On hover, it displays the info text “Contract balance”.
- To be delivered: This is the “to deliver” quantity still open on the contract. On hover, it displays the info text “Open Contract Quantity”.
- Stock: This column shows the total quantity present in a stock lot. While calculating this stock quantity from a contract, any re-evaluated quantity of the associated contract is also considered. On hover, it displays the info text “Stock”.
- Planned Quantity: This is the sum of all orders planned for purchase or sales. This does not apply to the lot quantity that is reserved with “destination: stock”. On hover, it displays the info text “Planned contract quantity”.
- Free quantity: This is the quantity of a contract or a stock lot that has not been sold yet. This free quantity also includes any re-evaluated quantity added to the lot. On hover, it displays the info text “Free quantity”.
- If something is put into stock, this does not influence the free quantity. If, however, the stock delivery is being finalized, then it does influence the free quantity. Because at this point, a new line appears in the position list of this stock lot with its quantity. At this point, the free quantity is reduced at the purchase contract line. As mentioned above, a new stock lot line appears, and this new stock lot quantity also appears in the free quantity column. So, when stock delivery is taking place, this does not impact the total free quantity of that product.
- If a sales order is being made via the “planning” button function in the contract UI, this will be planned/created with a 00-00-0000 order date, and the free quantity is reduced. This quantity then moves from free quantity to the column “Planned”.
- In case an order is being made with sales planning, and an actual order date is being entered (or being changed from 00-00-0000), then the quantity of the free quantity (or from reserved in case it’s a 00-00-0000 order) moves to column “Planned”.
- Previous Planning: The sum of the quantity of all months that haven’t been delivered yet on a contract until the current month. Quantities in these months will only be reduced when planned orders are finalized.
- Planning current month: The planning of the current month is based on the input on the contract and what is still to be delivered/purchased. On hover, it displays the year and month of planning in the format YYYY-MM.
- Planning month 2: The planning of month two is based on contract UI input and what still needs to be delivered. On hover, it displays the year and month of planning in the format YYYY-MM.
- Planning month 3: The planning of month three is based on contract UI input and what still needs to be delivered. On hover, it displays the year and month of planning in the format YYYY-MM.
- The planning of all the months entered in the contract is displayed in the same pattern. On hover, it displays the year and month of planning in the format YYYY-MM.
- Next Planning: On hover, the info text “next planning” displays.
- Total Quantity: This column gives the purchase contract balance plus stock quantity; the sales contracts display the balance. On hover, it displays the info text “Total Quantity”.
- Comments: This column shows the purchase/sales contract or stock remarks. On hover, it displays the info text “Remarks”.
- Quantity Unit: The quantity unit used in the contract is displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the info text “Quantity unit”.
- Pricing Unit: The pricing unit used in the contract is displayed in this column. On hover, the column displays the short info text “Unit the contract is priced in.”
- Open Orders: The column shows if the orderlines are open or not. If orderlines are missing an origin or destination, they are considered open orderlines. The column displays “Yes” for open orderlines and “No” for closed ones. On hover, the column displays the short info text, “Has any open orders.”
Note: Please note that, on occasion, the position list report is customized for each Qbil-Trade customer. Accordingly, not every column this article defines may apply to you.
